The Canyon photographs emphasize the geometry of the Financial District, with skyscrapers rising on either side of narrow, 19th Century streets.  By pointing the camera up, she creates a perspective that emphasizes the monumental scale of the new structures, but that can also convey a sense of claustrophobia.
